Nathan E. Heilman, 82, of Macungie, passed away peacefully in his home on Sat, Nov. 3, 2012 with his beloved wife of 61 years, Joyce (Kromer) Heilman, by his side. Born in Lehighton, he was a son of the late Nathan and Edna (Steigerwalt) Heilman. Nate was a member of Locust Valley Chapel, Coopersburg, where he formerly served as a deacon and trustee. He was an avid outdoorsman, and loved to work with his hands. Surviving with wife, children: Dennis, wife Christine, Center Valley and Susan Wollenhaupt, husband Greg, Macungie; nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by daughter, Donna Frank and granddaughter, Laura Wollenhaupt. Services will be held at 11 AM Tues, Nov. 6 in Locust Valley Chapel, 5936 Locust Valley Rd., Coopersburg. Call: 10-11 AM Tues at the church. Interment will be in Zion (Lehigh) Cemetery, Alburtis at the convenience of the family.
