Naomi Burkhardt, 73, of Quakertown, died Fri. Sept. 3 in Grand View Hospital. She was the wife of Richard W. Burkhardt. They celebrated 53 years of marriage in June. She worked in retail sales at the former Richland Mall, Quakertown, retiring as the manager of the former Delta Hoisery Store. Previously, she was a waitress for the former Club Diner, Quakertown a number of years. Born in Quakertown, she was a daughter of the late Marshall F. Somers and Ruth (Keller) Lowman. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Quakertown. Surviving with her husband are sons, Craig, wife Linda and Michael, wife Josephine, all of Quakertown, Eric, wife Lori Hoober, of Spring Hill, Kansas, and Todd, of Hawley, Pa, grandchildren Lena, Benjamin, Samantha, & Julie; brothers Larry Somers, wife Mary Lou, Quakertown & Carl Somers, wife Mary, Perkasie; sisters Barbara Egner, husband Charles, Bonnie Richter, all of Quakertown, and Joy Geiger, husband William of Macungie. funeral services will be held Thurs. Sept. 9 at the Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd., Quakertown. Interment Tohickon Union Cemetery, Perkasie. Call at the funeral home Thurs. 10 - 11 AM.
