Nancy D. Singer

Nancy Diehl Singer, 98, of Quakertown, formerly of Pleasant Valley, went home to be with Jesus on Friday January 26, 2024. She was the wife of the late Webster Singer, Jr. to whom she was married for 54 years (March 14, 1953, Doylestown, PA). Nancy was born January 13, 1926, in Abington, PA. She was the third child of Earle and Babette (DeBinder Davis) Diehl.

She was co-owner/operator with her husband of Singerlea Farms, a dairy and crop farm in Springfield Township, Bucks County. This partnership lasted 53 years until his death on September 23, 2007. The dairy operation is gone, but the land is still farmed.

Before she married, Nancy trained her Palomino horse "Senator” 40 + tricks and showed him at various venues.

Nancy was part of the Minsi Trail Flower Club for over 50 years.

She was talented in sketching and painting. Her incredible sketches and detailed description of the former Simon Singer Pottery in Haycock Township, Bucks County were the cover story for the May/June 1986 Mercer Mosaic, The Journal of the Bucks County Historical Society.

Above all, Nancy loved her LORD and Saviour, Jesus Christ, and His Word. As such, she eagerly did whatever she could to help complete the Great Commission.

She had an almost insatiable desire and need to grow closer to Christ. She read and studied the Bible over 40 times and spent time in prayer. One result was that she used her writing skills to pen voluminous amounts of didactic and missional material. She shared it wherever she could, be it at church, in prison, or to answer someone's question. She also taught Sunday School.

In 1992 she was part of Josh McDowell's MISSION TO RUSSIA '92. While there she traveled to Moscow and other cities participating in street evangelism.

In 1994 Webster and Nancy went to Russia as part of the C. & M.A. in response to the physical needs of fellow Russian Christians in the C. &M.A. They also participated in various Christian gatherings and street evangelism.

In later years, she reached out to many through a card ministry.

She was a member of the Locust Valley Chapel, of the C. & M.A., Coopersburg, PA.

Survivors: a son, Glenn E. and Colleen (Diehl) Singer of Pleasant Valley; daughter Carol Singer of Quakertown; two grandsons Eric C. and Elisabeth (Lewis) Singer of Quakertown and Michael S. and Rebecca (Zerr) Singer of Exton; three great-grandsons, Logan, Aiden, and Elliot; two nieces, Wendy and Susan and their families.
