Mr. William Kaiser

June 12, 1931 — March 17, 2021

William George Kaiser, Age 89 of Richlandtown, PA passed away Wednesday March 17, 2021 at Saucon Valley Manor retirement community. He was the husband of Melva R. Yarnall Kaiser, with whom he shared 53 years of marriage. Born on June 12, 1931 in the family farmhouse bought by his grandmother in Shelly, PA he graduated from Quakertown High School in 1949. His parents were William and Bertha (Huhn) Kaiser. He served in the US Army from 1954 to 1956. Bill was a diesel mechanic at the New Jersey Zinc Mine in Friendsville PA until it closed. He retired from Cecero Construction working as a diesel mechanic. He was a member of Zion Hill Evangelical Lutheran Church in Zion Hill, PA. He and his wife enjoyed camping with family and friends. They saw much of the United States on camping trips in their fifth wheel during retirement. Staying mostly in state parks and visiting off the path locations. He was fluent in Pennsylvania Dutch and would often curse in Dutch so his children wouldn't know what he was saying. He was a big U.S. history buff and enjoyed visiting battlefields. He knew how to fix and build anything which included building a garage for his many tools and a hunting cabin with his buddy Danny Ohl. His nickname given to him while he was growing up was Junior In addition to his wife Melva, he is survived by son Frank Kaiser, husband of Mary (Mockler) of Quakertown; Charlene Kaiser, wife of Frank Moldovany of Richlandtown; sister Betty McClellan of Oklahoma; his grandchildren Tammy Hilker, Brad Hilker, Dana Litostansky and Samuel Litostansky, and his great grandchildren Shane Blowers and Hayleigh Hilker. He was predeceased by his daughter Colleen Kaiser, brother John Kaiser and sisters Pauline Salek and Dorothy Holland. Services will be announced at a later date.
