Morris B. Todd, 97, of Quakertown, died, Sat. Sept. 6th at St. Luke's Hospice House of the VNA, Bethlehem. He was the husband of the late Charlotte (Weaver) Todd. He worked for Atlantic States Gas prior to his retirement in 1982. Born in Easton, he was the son of the late Frank and Florence (Keller) Todd. He was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Quakertown. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII in the 11th Calvary, Tank Platoon, in Germany. He was a member of the Wallace Willard Keller American Legion Post 242, Quakertown, where he served as a past commander, on the honor guard, and achieved 50 years of service. He was a member of the Saucon Masonic Lodge, Coopersburg, and the Lehigh Consistory, Allentown. He was also a longtime member of the Reminisce Club, Quakertown. He achieved 3,000 hours of volunteering at St. Luke's Hospital, Quakertown. Surviving are his daughters, Shirley Merring, of Stroudsburg and Diane Ising, husband Duane, of Punta Gorda, FL; grandchildren Mitchell Merring and Michelle Wilgus, husband Mark; great grandchildren, Brandon, Austin, and Cole. Services will be held 10:30 AM, Thurs. Sept 11th at Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd., Quakertown. Call 9:30-10:30 at the funeral home.
