Monica G. Cooper, 42, of Coopersburg, died Thurs. June 4th in the Lehigh Valley Hospice Unit, Allentown. She was the loving wife of Daniel Cooper for the past twelve years. Monica graduated from Quakertown High School in 1990, and graduated from Eastern Mennonite College in 1994 with a B.S. in dietetics. She worked as a Nutritionist for the Bucks County Health Department for fifteen years for both the WIC program and as a health educator. Born in Quakertown, she was a daughter of Jane (Clayton) Cope and the late Richard Cope. Monica was a member of Swamp Mennonite Church, Quakertown. Surviving with her husband and mother is her daughter Iris and son Franklin, both at home; her sisters Whitney McGrew with husband Shawn and Krystal Johnson with husband Mike; her brother Tom Nguyen with wife Mary; her thirteen nieces and nephews; her in-laws Bob and Jeanette Cooper; her brother in-law Ben; and sister in-law Becky Delp with husband Todd. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM, Sat. June 20th at Swamp Mennonite Church, 2125 Rosedale Rd., Quakertown. Friends and family are invited to call from 10:00-11:00 AM at the church. A light lunch will be served following the service. Interment will be held 11:00 AM, Tue. June 30th at Newtown Cemetery.
