Mildred Conway

October 8, 1933 — June 13, 2020

Mildred Irene (Hottenstein) Conway, age 86, peacefully entered the gates of heaven on Sat. June 13, 2020, at St. Luke's University Hospital, Bethlehem. Born Oct. 8, 1933, in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Sylvester and Bertha (Miller) Hottenstein, and the widow of the late Leonard L. Conway, Sr. Mildred or "Becky" as she was more widely known, was a lifetime member of the Sellersville American Legion. After the passing of her husband, she spent the next several years dedicated to volunteering at Phoebe Richland. She loved spending time with family and friends at every opportunity and thoroughly enjoyed every chance to be together in celebration. She spent hours in her flower room creating beautiful arrangements that filled her home and provided comfort with cemetery logs for those she loved and lost. She filled every day working to make the lives of others easier. Her smile and wit will be sorely missed by those who were fortunate enough to spend time with her. Mildred is survived by: daughter Eileen Steirer (husband Thomas); sons Leonard L. Conway, Jr. (wife Jill), and Bruce Conway; grandchildren Jennifer, Mark, Stephanie, Stacey, Deborah, and Lynn; great-grandchildren Madison, Andrew, Maxwell, Carley, Lexie, and Lyndsey; and sister Arlene Petresky. In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by: brother Robert; and sisters Elizabeth and Shirley. Services will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church-Richlandtown, 4 South Main St Richlandtown PA 18955, Friday, September 24, 2021 at 11:00 AM.  You are invited to visit with Becky's family at the church from 10-11, prior to the service. Inurnment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Coopersburg, PA.
