Michael Schreier

Michael Schreier, 65, of Quakertown, died Wednesday, August, 8 at St. Luke's University Hospital Bethlehem. He was the husband of Diane B. (Bleam) Schreier for 41 years. Born in Quakertown, he was a son of the late Fritz B. & Verna A. (Schaffer) Schreier. Mike graduated from QHS in 1971 and worked for Penn Stainless Products Inc., as a truck driver for 35 years. Mike was a member of East Swamp Mennonite Church in Quakertown, where he was a leader in the clubs program, assisting with crafts and pine car derby races. He was a born-again Christian who knew Jesus Christ as his savior. In his spare time Mike loved to go hunting, 4 wheeling, mountain biking, reloading, spending time with his grandchildren and had a huge passion for casting bullets. Surviving with his wife is his children: Chad, wife Kathleen of Belgrade, MT & Kim Drumm, husband Josh of Fogelsville; step-son: John Klein, wife Rachael, of Quakertown; grandchildren: Alexis, Brianna, Piper, Aeden & Jackson; siblings: Larry, wife Sherri of Sugar Run, PA; Lois Bishop of Mt. Joy, PA; Dave, wife Cindy of Colorado Springs, CO; Jim of Quakertown; Jeff, wife Jennifer of Center Valley, PA; and Steve, wife Liz of Green Lane. Funeral Service will be held 7:00 pm Monday, August, 13 at East Swamp Mennonite Church, 2405 E. Swamp Road, Quakertown 18951, with a visitation beginning at 6:00 pm.
