Melanie Anne Entena

Melanie Anne Entena (nee Nano), 46, of Coopersburg, PA, passed away surrounded by her loving family on May 20, 2024, at Grandview Hospital. Born in Belleville, NJ, Melanie is the daughter of Arturo Nano and Melba (Apolinario) Nano.

Melanie grew up in Nutley and graduated from Nutley High School in 1995. After high school, Melanie continued her education by attending Kean University where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. She then began working at Teva Pharmaceuticals and built her career there for 23 years, leading to her role as Director of New Product Strategy-Respiratory. Her passion for life extended well beyond her professional endeavors. She was always active, growing up a dancer at Dance World Academy and as an adult, she stayed active working out, running, and walking with neighbors. Melanie was a member at St. Isidore’s Parish and she was motivated by her faith and willingly assisted anyone who was in need. She loved watching her daughters compete in club swim for PAAC and was an active board member on the Soleco’s Summer Swim Team as Treasurer. She also enjoyed watching her son’s baseball and basketball games. She loved her family deeply and cherished the time spent with them above all else.

Melanie made an enormous impact in every life she touched. Her incredible ability to make people laugh, feel at ease, and her infectious and nutty humor will be deeply missed.

In addition to her parents, Melanie will be dearly missed by her husband, Joe Ryan, together they shared 11 years of marriage; her children, Eliana (10), Elysia (8), and Jameson (7); her siblings, Arvin (Rosalie) and Armel (MaryFe); her sibling in faith, Irene; her niece, Elexa; many other nieces and nephews; and other extended family members and close friends. Melanie was predeceased by her brother, Aries.

All are invited to visit Melanie’s family on Friday, May 31, 2024, from 12:00PM-3:00PM and 5:00PM-8:00PM, located at Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, Ltd. 135 W. Pumping Station Road, Quakertown, PA 18951. (215-536-3343). Mass will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024 beginning at 2:30PM, located at St. Isidore’s Parish, 2545 W. Pumping Station Road, Quakertown, PA 18951.
