Mehdi Ghazanfari, 82, of Quakertown, died Thurs. Feb. 16 in St. Luke's-Bethlehem Hospital. He was the loving husband of Joanne (Trumbauer) Ghazanfari for the past 43 years. He worked as a machine operator in the manufacturing industry for many years before retiring. Born in Tehran, Iran, he was a son of the late Avolfathe & Iran Ghazanfari. Mehdi was a believer in Jesus Christ and lived his life for Him. He made friends everywhere he went and was very passionate about helping those in need and sharing his love of Jesus. He loved his church, Morning Star Fellowship, Quakertown. He spent much time in the weight room of the YMCA working out and sharing his knowledge with the many friends of all ages that he met there. Surviving with his wife, daughter, Jennifer Ghazanfari-Feralio, son, Shawn, and his granddaughters, Shannon & Gracie who were the joy of his life-he loved them dearly. He was predeceased by daughter Shannon. A memorial service will be held 7 PM Friday, Feb 24, in East Swamp Church, Quakertown. Fmily and friends are invited to call at the church Friday 5 - 7 PM.
