Mary Stephenson

Mary J. Stephenson, 92, of Allentown, formerly of York, died, Wednesday, August 20th at Hospice House of the VNA, St. Luke's, Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Walter M. Stephenson. Born in Pontiac, Illinois, she was a daughter of the late Lewis and Martha (Abraham) Pemberton. She was a member of Trinity Great Swamp United Church of Christ, Spinnerstown. She was a longtime member of the Caterpillar Tractor Retirement Club in York. Surviving are her sons, Jeffry, wife Nancy, of Quakertown and Gregory, of Waldorf, MD; Grandchildren, Brian, Todd, Joseph, Ashley, and Joshua; Great Grandchildren, Elle, Holden, Zoey, and Hannah. She was predeceased by brothers, Lewis Pemberton and Allen Johnson, and a sister, Maxine Eggenberger. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 23rd, at Trinity Great Swamp United Church of Christ, 9150 County Line Road, Spinnerstown, Pennsylvania 18968.
