Mary Starr

Mary R. Starr, 95, of Zion Hill died Thursday, October 20th in Phoebe Richland Health Care Center, Quakertown, PA, where she had been admitted that day. She resided in her home in Zionhill at the time of her death. She was the wife of the late Donald Clifford Starr, who predeceased her in 1976. Born in Shaeffer's Hill, PA, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Priscilla (Kadash) Panak. She resided with her husband and family in Llewellyn, PA, until 1966, when they moved to the Quakertown area. Survivors include her son, Clifford Starr, and wife Anne of Bethlehem, PA; daughter, Dawn Starr of Potomac, MD; grandchildren, Elizabeth Gutermann of Potomac and Peter Starr of Bethlehem; brother, Stephen Panak and wife Joyce of Minersville, PA; sister-in-law, Doris Panak, of Perkasie. She was predeceased by her daughter, Phyllis Gayle Starr, in 2010. Service will be held at 12:15 pm on Saturday, Oct. 29 at Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral and Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd.,Quakertown. Calling hours at Naugle Funeral Home are from10 am to12 noon. Interment immediatley following the service at Whitemarsh Memorial Park. Prospectville.
