Mary P. Kozak, 75, of Perkasie, died Mon, May 3 in her home. She was the wife of Walter J. Kozak. They celebrated their 52nd anniversary last October. Born in Hicksville, Long Island, New York she was a daughter of the late Ann (Sikora) Blaun. She grew up in West Rockhill Township, Bucks County and graduated from Pennridge High School, Class of 1954. Her early employment years were mostly in sales. She worked at Abraham and Strauss Dept. Stores, Hempstead, NY, May Co. Dept. Stores, Los Angeles, CA. She was a department manager at Strawbridge and Clothier, Springfield, PA. She later gave up sales and went to work for the Switchgear Division of General Electric, Philadelphia, PA where she was employed until daughter Karen was born. When her daughters were young, she was actively involved in Girl Scout leadership. An avid auto racing fan, she made many trips to Indianapolis and other major tracks around the country. She enjoyed going dancing and was a member of two dinner groups that get together on a regular basis. In the early years of marriage her and her husband traveled extensively. They toured 46 of the 48 contiguous states. A number of trips in Canada and also spent a vacation in Venezuela. Surviving with husband, daughters, Karen M. and Jennifer A. Kozak; brother, Thomas.
