Martin John Oczki

Martin “Marty” John Oczki, 75, of Quakertown, PA, passed away on September 23rd, 2023, at St. Luke’s Bethlehem. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Marty was the son of the late Joseph Oczki and Josephine Oczki (Oscadal). 

Marty graduated from Father Judge High School in Philadelphia and went on to continue his education at La Salle University where he received his bachelor’s degree. Marty proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1966 through 1970. He was a Philadelphia Police Officer for over twenty years and retired in 1993 from Northwest Detectives. He also worked for the Philadelphia Inquirer and continued to work there after his retirement. Marty loved sailing, reading, and spending time with his dog. He was outgoing and enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and especially his two grandsons.

Marty will be dearly missed by his wife, Margaret Oczki (Koritko), together they shared 55 years of marriage; his children, Christine Piperato and Kimberly Pinkerton; his grandchildren, Nicholas David and Owen Martin; and his brother, Vincent Joseph Oczki of Arizona. 

All are invited to visit Marty’s family on Wednesday, October 4th, 2023, for a visitation from 9:00AM~11:00AM located at St. Isidore’s Parish, 2545 W. Pumping Station Road, Quakertown, PA, 18951.
