Mark Matern

Mark R. Matern, 57, of Perkasie died June 10, 2015 in Grand View Hospital in Sellersville. He was the loving husband of Brenda (Swinney) Matern for the past 24 years. Born in Racine, WI, Mark was the oldest son of Robert and the late Joan (Bensen) Matern. He worked as a print press operator and a group lead at Dorman Products in Colmar. Mark belonged to the Milford Township Fish, Game, and Forestry Association. He was an outdoorsman, an avid fisherman who loved camping and bonfires. Above all else, he was proud of his family and loved being a husband, dad and Gpop. Surviving with his wife are daughters Jacque Strohm and husband Joshua, and Vanessa Matern; grandchildren Oliver and Piper Strohm; and brothers Jim and Steve. Funeral services will be held 11 am Sun. June 14 Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd., Quakertown. Call at the funeral home 10 - 11 am. Interment Sellersville Cemetery.
