Marion S. Overly, 91, of Pennsburg, previously of Quakertown, died Friday, January 15th in Pennsburg Manor. She was the wife of the late Charles L. Overly. Born in Limeport, she was a daughter of the late Elwood and Verna (Schoenley) Merkel. She was a machine operator for the former Imrod Clothing Co., Quakertown, Milford Square Pants Factory, and I.G. Pants, Perkasie. During WWII she was a welder. She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Spinnerstown; Order of the Eastern Star, Red Hill and had served as head trustee of the former Quakertown Eastern Star. Surviving: sons, Edward, wife Fay, Bernard all of Quakertown; daughter, Judy O'Donnell, husband John of Hatfield; 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Stella Sandberg, husband Frank of Long Beach, CA, Dorothy Duncan of New Castle, DE. Service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, Jan. 19 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Spinnerstown. Call: 10:00-11:00 am Tuesday in the church. The Jeffrey A.
