Marie Sloyer

Marie H. Sloyer, 94, died on September 29, 2010 at St. Luke's Quakertown Hospital. She was the wife of the late H. Walter Sloyer. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late David and Ameila (Nace) Martin. She was a machine operator for former Freedman-Rodenheim Shirt Factory for 19 years. She also stitched softballs at home. Marie was a member of Trinity (Springfield) Lutheran Church, Pleasant Valley. Surviving: son, Gary and wife Evelyn; daughters, Jeanette Yeakel and husband John, Anna Mae Rathjens and husband Jacob all of Quakertown; 6 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter. She was predeceased by grandson, Lee Rathjens. Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, Oct. 2 at Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd., Quakertown.
