Marie Porambo

Marie A. Porambo (nee Gwiazdowski) age 94, died Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019, at the Peter Becker Community, Harleysville; formerly of Lady Lake, FL and Warminster, PA. Born Aug. 28, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Josephine Gwiazdowski, and was the widow of the late Raymond L. Porambo, to whom she was married until he passed away in 2005. Marie graduated from Shenandoah High School in 1943. Later, she worked for the Tasty Baking Company in Philadelphia, but most loved her role as mother and wife. Marie is survived by: sons Raymond (Leslie) and Paul (Catriona Glazebrook) Porambo; and beloved grandchildren Olivia, Abigail, and Joseph. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in passing by her brothers Joseph, Edward, Vincent, Stanley and Leo; her sisters, Mae (née Amelia), Regina and Irene. Services will be private and held at the discretion of the family.
