Marguerite Place

Marguerite F. Place, 86 of Richland Twp. previously of Oxford, NY, died Wednesday, December 7 in Hospice House of The VNA Of St. Luke's. She was the wife of the late Oliver C. Place She worked as a Food Service Manager in the Quakertown Community School District for 10 years before retiring in 2005 Born in Oxford, NY, she was the daughter of the late John and Lydia (Van Auken) Fitzgerald. Mrs. Place was a member of Richlandtown Fire Co. Aux, Catholic Women's Club, and volunteered at St. Luke's-Quakertown Hospital She is survived by sons: James F. and wife Barbara, Quakertown; Dan O. and wife Claudia, Mercersburg; daughter-in-law: Kathleen Place, Quakertown; sister: Helena Ryan, Oxford, NY, ten grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by son, William T. Place; brother, William Fitzgerald; sister, Jessie Weidman Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, December 10 at Jeffrey A.
