Margaret Elizabeth Rupert, 91, resident of the Peter Becker Community in Harleysville, and formerly of Quakertown, passed away July 7 in Hospice Care at Grand View Hospital, Sellersville. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Percival L. Rupert, Sr. in 2004. They were married for almost 52 years. Born in Upper Saucon Twp., she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Lizzie (Ackerman) Jacoby. Margaret worked in the cafeteria at Richland Elementary School in Quakertown for 23 years retiring in 1984. When her sons were young, Margaret served as a Den Mother for Cub Scout Pack #55 in Quakertown. Margaret was a member of First Church of the Brethren, Quakertown, where she served as a member of the Women's Fellowship and the Quilting Club. Margaret is survived by sons, P. Lynn Jr. and wife, Melea of Quakertown; Dennis E. and wife Karen of Chicago, Illinois; grandson, Ryan C. and fiancé, Jennifer McGinty of Pottstown; brother, Paul E. and wife Anna of Harleysville. She was predeceased by brother, John Jacoby and sister Martha Knechel. Services will be held 11:00 am, Mon. July 11th in the chapel of Ridgeview Estates, Peter Becker Community, 800 Maple Ave, Harleysville. Friends may call 10-11 am in the chapel. Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W.
