Mae Schlemmer

Mae L. Schlemmer, 81 of Quakertown, died Friday May 3, 2013 in her home. She was the wife of the late Herman S. Schlemmer. They were married 60 years. Born May 4, 1931 in Souderton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Allen and Sevilla (Long) Benner. Mae worked as a seamstress for more than 20 years for Renningers Clothing Manufacturer. She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Zion Hill. Surviving Mae are sons; Barry Schlemmer, wife Eileen of Coopersburg, Ronald Schlemmer of Oxnard, CA. Brother; Linford Benner of South Carolina. Grandchildren; Alexa and Austin. She is pre-deceased by son David, brothers; Edward, Stanley, Clarence and a sister; Lillian Scheetz. Funeral service will be held 11am, Wednesday May 8 in the Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd, Quakertown. Viewing will be from 10-11am in the funeral home.
