M. Madorra Samph, 97, of Richlandtown, died Tues., Jan. 29 in Phoebe-Richland Health Care Center. She was the widow of Herman Samph. She was a clerical worker in the accounting office of the Quakertown Community School District for 28 years before retiring. Born in Richlandtown, she was the daughter of the late Herbert J. and Amanda (Frankenfield) Schaffer. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Richlandtown where she sang on the choir for 70 years, taught Sunday school, and served as choir & Women's Guild treasurer, Richlandtown Fire Co Auxiliary, Richlandtown Playground Assoc., Auxiliary to American Legion Post 242, and Quakertown AARP. She was a 50 year member of Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by nephews, nieces, grandnephews & grandnieces. Service, Sat., Feb 9, 10am in the Jeffrey A.
