M. Jeanette George, 92, of Richlandtown, passed away at Phoebe Richland Nursing Center Tue., Dec. 5, 2017. She was the widow of Titus M. George, with whom she had celebrated 67 years of marriage. Born on April 22, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Irvin and Katie (Texter) Slotter. Jeanette was a graduate of the former Sell-Perk High School. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Quakertown. Surviving are her children: Barry George of Allentown; Kathleen Jones, husband Terry and Timothy George, wife Sandy, all of Quakertown; grandchildren: Christian George, Tory Jones, Eric Jones, Mike George and Kasey Crouthamel; great-grandchildren: Alannah George, Kayla Jones, Ella George, Jackson George, Mason Crouthamel, Gabe Crouthamel and Lyla Crouthamel; brother, John Slotter, wife Mary and sisters: Nancy Keller, husband Joe and Ruth Yothers. She was preceded in death by 6 siblings. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Fri., Dec. 8 in Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd., Quakertown, with a viewing beginning at 10:30 AM. Interment in Quakertown Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Phoebe Richland Nursing Center, 108 S. Main Street, Richlandtown, PA 18955.
