Luther Bossert

Luther K. Bossert, 87, of Mechanicsburg, previously of Quakertown, died Sunday, July 18, in Health South, Mechanicsburg. He was the husband of the late Ruth (Shaddinger) Bossert. Born in Trumbauersville, he was a son of the late Robert and Gertrude (Scheetz) Bossert. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Quakertown and the Wallace Willard Keller American Legion, Quakertown. After graduating from Quakertown High School, class of 1940, Luther served with the U.S. Navy during WW II. He worked as a machinist for various manufacturing companies in the Bucks County area. Surviving: sons, Terry, wife Juli of Mechanicsburg; Mark and wife Clerc of Spencer WV; grandchildren, Justin, Alexandra, Gretchen, Tara, Hannah, Eric, Reid; great-grandson, Matthew. He was predeceased by son, Paul. Services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, July 23 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Quakertown. Call: 10-11 AM Friday in the church.
