Louis J. Donatucci Sr., 87, of Quakertown, died Sat. Apr. 5th at St. Luke's Hospital - Bethlehem. He was the beloved husband of Lola (Martin) Donatucci for 56 years. Born April 12, 1926 in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Silvino and Concetta (Masciovecchio) Donatucci. He was a member of the St. Isidore's Catholic Church, Quakertown where he lectured for many years. He also lectured at St. Christopher's Church, Somerton, PA and Mission San Luis Rey, Oceanside, CA. He served in the US Army during World War II. He was employed at the Philadelphia Navy Yard during World War II and helped build the USS Wisconsin, and assisted in repairs on the USS New Jersey. He was honored to be on board the Wisconsin when it was launched. He was a 68 year member of the Cardinal Stritch Council 4649 Knights of Columbus where he went up the chairs in both council and assembly. He served as Grand Knight of Council 3162 in Oceanside, CA and as Faithful Navigator of Father Peyri Assembly in Vista, CA He was a former district deputy of District 22, eastern division (Pennsylvania) and was a also a member of the color corp. He was a charter member of the Michaelangelo Lodge 2260, Sons of Italy and a past president of the Lower Southampton Kiwanis Club, Feasterville, PA, and a former cub master of Pack 76, Feasterville, PA. He was a member of Philadelphia Carpenters Union, Local 1856. Surviving with his wife, daughter, Susan Nazzaro, husband Philip; sons, John, wife Patricia, Louis Jr., and Joseph, wife Bonnie; 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM Thurs. Apr. 10th at St. Isidore's Catholic Church, 2545 W. Pumping Station Rd., Quakertown. Call 9:30-10:30. Interment at Sunset Memorial Park, Feasterville. Memorial Contributions can be made to St. Isidore's Catholic Church Building Fund., 603 E. Broad St., Quakertown, PA 18951. Jeffrey A.
