Lester Weisel

Lester L. Weisel, 76, of Spinnerstown, died August 31 in the Hospital of the University of PA, Phila. He was the husband of Agnes (Kelly) Weisel. They celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary last November. Born in Milford Twp., he was the son of the late John K. and Katie (Miller) Weisel. A hard worker, he was raised on a farm and continued as an agricultural and dairy farmer for all his life. He enjoyed restoring John Deere tractors, taking them to shows and having his sons drive them in local parades. He was a member of Milford Square & Dublin Grundsow Lodges; Bux-Mont Two Cylinder Club; East Central PA Two Cylinder Club. Surviving with his wife, sons, Lester L. Jr. and wife Grace; Larry L. and wife Vanessa all of Quakertown; grandchildren, Kate, Ryan, Cody, Dwight; brother, Henry of Quakertown; sisters, Eleanor Landes of Zion Hill, Dorothy Neff, Betty Ackerman and husband Donald all of Quakertown, Darlene Nagle and husband Richard of Green Lane, Shirley of Quakertown.
