Leonard M. "Lenn" Vitek 74, Quakertown died quietly Thurs, May 4 in his home. He was the loving husband of Carol A. (George) Vitek. The couple had 45 wonderful years together. He worked for the former Bethlehem Steel Co. as a scheduler in the Printing Dept. Born in Lansford, Carbon Co. he was the son of the late John and Helen (Haslego) Vitek He was a member of Trinity Great Swamp United Church of Christ, Spinnerstown, where he served on numerous boards and Committees. He was also the acolyte supervisor. Mr. Vitek served his country proudly as a member of the US Army National Guard for 27 years. He retired with full Colonel recognition granted by the state of PA Surviving with his wife: daughter: Jennifer Newland, Roseto, brother: John and his wife Jean, Northampton, sister: Joan Smith, Toms River, NJ, and granddaughter Jasmine Areil, Roseto Services: 11:00 am Mon. May 9 at Trinity Great Swamp United Church of Christ, Spinnerstown Road, Spinnerstown. Call: 10-11 am Mon. at the church. Interment: Trinity Great Swamp Cemetery. Jeffrey A.
