Leah M. Blanks, 85, of Whitehall, PA, passed away on March 11th, 2024, in her home. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late John Bishop and the late Helen (Greene) Bishop. Leah is predeceased by her husband, Rodney Blanks Sr. and her siblings, Evelyn, Sarah, Shirley, Doris, John, and David.
Leah grew up in Sellersville, PA, and attended Pennridge High School. She later went on to work at Ametek US Gauge and retired in 1984. Leah was a woman of strong faith. She shared her faith through words, actions, and was willing to assist anyone who was in need. In her free time, Leah enjoyed going on walks, fishing, traveling, and cooking her famous fried fish, grits, and biscuits. She loved her family deeply and cherished the time spent with them above all else.
Leah will be dearly missed by her children, Rodney Blanks Jr. (Toni Albanese), Helen Blanks, Keith Blanks (Sharon), Garth Blanks (Lisa), and Kim Blanks; 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
All are invited to a viewing on Friday, March 22nd, 2024, from 10:30AM ~ 12:00PM, located at Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, Ltd. 135 W. Pumping Station Road, Quakertown, PA, 18951. (215-536-3343). A funeral service will begin at 12:00PM. Interment will take place at a later time.
