Larue Mergelkamp

LaRue Mergelkamp, 87,of Pennsburg, formerly of St. Petersburg, FL, died Sat., Dec. 14 in, E. Norriton, PA. She was the wife of the late Howard Mergelkamp, Sr. (CMSgt, ret) Born in Enid, OK, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Grace (Tedford) Maddox. She was a career civil service secretary, working for the U.S. Air Force at bases across the country and in Japan. She retired in 1988 as a senior secretary in the U.S. Readiness Command at MacDill Air Force Base, Tampa, FL. She is survived by son; Howard Jr., wife Ariadna, E. Greenville; daughter Sharon Richwine, husband Robert, Woodbridge VA; sisters, Jeannine Sherman, Lola Carol Boger, and Lois Davenport; 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
