Lamar Shive

Lamar Earl. Shive, age 73, died Fri. Apr. 10, 2020, at his home in Haycock Township. Born Aug. 26, 1946, in Norristown Lamar is predeceased by both his mother and father. Lamar served his country with distinction in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam era. He worked throughout his life until he finally retired from the City of Charleston, SC. Lamar had a love and passion for motors and racing. Lamar is survived by his wife. He is also survived by his two daughters Renee Robinson (Rusty) of Goose Creek, SC and Tina Speigel of Cape May Court House, NJ; two grandchildren Jarrett Bowlby and Sydnee Speigel and one great granddaughter, Brooke. Though Lamar was an only child, he has two cousins he loved like sisters; Carol Ann Morse (Bill) of St. Augustine, Fla. and Darlene Rehrig (Randy) of Coopersburg, PA. Lamar also cherished their parents Wilmer (deceased) & Ruth Johnson of Coopersburg, PA. Not only will Lamar be missed by his family, he will also be missed by his life-long friend, John Gerhart (Judy) of Perkasie, PA. Interment will be private and at the discretion of the family.
