Kevin Eugene Sylvester, age 70, died Sun., March 15, 2020, at Penn Hospice Rittenhouse, Philadelphia. Born June 25, 1949 in Abington, he was the son of the late Eugene Sylvester and Molly (Vozzy) Golden, and the husband of Annette (DeVito) Sylvester, to whom he was married 48 years at the time of his passing. Kevin attained his PhD from California Coast University, and served his community for 3 decades as a Psychologist. He was a longtime member of the American Psychological Society, Association for Psychological Science, and American Counseling Association. In his free time, he was an avid reader, devoted to the pursuit of knowledge. More than anything, though, he adored his family, who will miss him dearly. In addition to his wife, Kevin is survived by: daughters Rachel Sylvester-Bauman (husband James Bauman), and Victoria Sylvester (husband Luke Moyer); granddaughters Paige and Hanna Bauman; and sisters Gail Bartlett (husband William), and Maureen Ambler (husband Robert). In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by: stepfather Thomas Golden. In lieu of services at this time, a memorial service will be planned for June 2020.
