Kathryn "Kay" Reinert of Quakertown passed away peacefully in her daughter and son-in-law's home surrounded by her family on June 28th 2011. She was 88. Kay was the wife of Stanley Reinert married 67 years until his passing July 31, 2010. Kathryn was born in Kintnersville, daughter of the late Fabian and Lena (Sprozek) Fachet. Kay graduated from Palisades High School, class of 1941. She attended beautician school in Allentown after graduation. Kay was employed by her sister Ann at her beauty shop in Quakertown in the 1950's. She then was a housewife until 1970 when she was a dog groomer for the next 25 years. Kay loved cooking and baking for everyone. She enjoyed camping, traveling, gardening and crafts. Kay cherished time spent with loving husband Stan and her family. According to her 5 grandchildren she was the Best Baker and Cook. Crazy chocolate cake will live on Forever. Surviving: son Alan, daughter Joann Courtney and husband Jon of Quakertown; Grandchildren; Jon Jr and Janelle Courtney of Quakertown, Erik & wife Lauren Reinert of Rochester NY, Alyssa & husband John Wassmer of Pottstown, Margeaux Reinert of Quakertown; Great grandchild: Eva Pepper Reinert of Rochester NY; sister, Alice Renninger.
