Kathryn I. Deibert, 85, of Coopersburg passed away June 2, 2013 in the Hospice House of the VNA St. Luke's. She was the loving wife of Franklin J. Deibert with whom she celebrated 63 years of marriage on August 20. Born in Pleasant Valley, PA on August 24, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Robert W. G. and Mildred H. (Mindler) Koehler. Kathryn was employed as a seamstress at several local clothing manufacturers prior to becoming a full time homemaker. She was a skilled clothier providing most of her and her daughters clothing, including their prom dresses. She enjoyed doing needlework such as embroidery, crochet, cross-stitch and quilting for family and friends. She was a past Girl Scout assistant leader, participating in scouting activities, field trips, and camping programs. She and her husband were avid travelers, touring throughout the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii, Canada and Europe. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was especially fond of her grand-daughters, who were her pride and joy. Always full of energy and affable, she contributed much to life. She is survived by; Husband, daughters; Linda M. Pustarfi, husband Stanley H. of Evans, GA, Lois E. Tilley, husband Thomas J. of Coopersburg. Granddaughters; Laura A. Riddick, husband Brandon, Erin F. and Megan K. Pustarfi, and Amanda L. Tilley. Brothers; Robert W. G. Koehler, Jr., Richard B. Koehler both of Quakertown. Sisters; Pearl L. Ogden, Janet L. Seip, husband Paul, Nancy Bickley, husband John all of Quakertown. She was pre-deceased by brothers Kenneth P. and Montford L. Koehler. Services will be held Thursday June 6 at 11:00am in the Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd, Quakertown. A viewing will be held from 10 until 11 in the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Kidney Foundation, 6110 Executive Boulavard, Suite 1010, Rockville, MD 20852-9813.
