Katharine F. Hermann, 69 of Sellersville, formerly of Ambler and Philadelphia, died Sat. Feb. 21st at St. Luke's Hospice House, Bethlehem. She was the wife of Thomas Hermann for 22 years. Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Julia (McGilloway) Buchanan. She was very multi-talented and artistic and loved painting flowers. She also enjoyed painting glass and furniture. Katharine was a very proud American and member of the Republican Party. She was a former committee woman and was active in presidential campaigns. She was very interested in veteran's affairs and charities. She is survived by her husband; sons, Dominic Fesi of Oley and Don Fesi, wife Diane of Milford Twp.; daughter, Donna Merritt, husband Robert of Reading; grandchildren, Victoria, Melissa, Dean, Collin and Oren; and sister, Maryanne Gill. A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Sat. Feb. 28th at Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd., Quakertown. Calling from 1:00-2:00 PM at the funeral home.
