Karen Buckwalter Graham, 53, of Quakertown, previously of Port Republic, VA died Thurs., Dec. 3, 2009, as a result of an auto accident at Lower Mountain & Swamp Rd, Buckingham Twp. She was the wife of Douglas Graham. They celebrated their 26th wedding anniversary on Sept. 2nd. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of Richard and Betty (Nolt) Buckwalter of Lancaster. She graduated from Connestoga Valley High School, class of 1974 and continued her education at Bryn Mawr Hospital School of Nursing. She was a registered nurse with Doylestown Hospital Hospice for seven years. Previously she worked at Rockingham Memorial Hospital Hospice for seven years. She was a certified oncology nurse and "hospice nurse extraordinaire", named Nurse of Hope by the American Cancer Society, Bedford County, PA She was a member of the First Church of Brethren, Quakertown. Surviving with her husband, son, Adam of Harrisonburg, VA, daughter, Amanda Graham of Quakertown; granddaughter, Melanie; brother, Dennis of Farmington Hills, MI. She was predeceased by brother, Pastor Richard Owen Buckwalter. Services will be held 5:00 pm Thurs, Dec. 10th in the First Church of Brethren, Quakertown. The Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral Home, 20 N.
