Julius Lester Foster, age 85, died Saturday, October 19, 2019, at Belle Haven Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Quakertown. Born May 15, 1934 in Hiawassee, GA, he was the son of the late Grover and Ioma (Shook) Foster, and the widower of the late Margaret (Paczonay) Foster, who passed in May of this year. Julius served his country with distinction in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He enjoyed vegetable gardening, building birdhouses, American History, and Politics. He volunteered and sat on various political campaign committees. He worked for and retired from SPS Technologies after 40 plus years of service as Supervisor for the Unbrako shipping and receiving department. Julius is survived by 5 children Stephan (wife Patricia), Paula Linske (husband Richard), Jeffrey (wife Christine), Gregory (wife Jeannie), & Peter (wife Christine); grandchildren Nathan, Julie, Andrea, Rachel, Stephan, Travis, Amanda, Scott, Brandon, Garrett, Courtney, Rian, Nicole, Colin, Cameron, Brenna, Kristie, Brandi, Mindy, Connor, & Cody; great-grandchildren Caleb, Kendra, Lily, Dominic, Jack, Shaun, Carter, Asher, Everett, Ellis, & Violet. He was predeceased by a daughter, Cynthia (Foster) Workman and granddaughter, Sara. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 25, at the Parish of St. Isidore, 2454 W. Pumping Station Rd., Quakertown, with interment to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Pennsburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association 1617 JFK Boulevard, Suite 700 Philadelphia PA 19103.
