Joy Marie Wistner, 83, of Hereford, previously of Ridge Valley, died Mon. March 7 in Phoebe-Richland Health Care Center. She was the widow of Oscar Henry Wistner, Sr. She worked as a receptionist for ten years at CB West High Sigh School, Doylestown. Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Marie (Oeschle) Cleaveland. Joy was a woman who found great pleasure in spending time with her family. She enjoyed visiting with her neighbors and writing letters. She took great pride in her gardens, was skilled in all forms of needle work, and mastered the challenge of the jig-saw puzzle. Surviving are her son, Oscar H., Jr, Quakertown, daughters Darlene Joy Schmidt, husband Edward, of Perkasie, Daren Hope Rumbaugh, husband Richard, of E. Vandegrift; brothers Dale Hartkorn, of Jamison, & Kenneth Jackaway, of Thompson; sister, Dorothy Peoples, of Tuckerton, NJ; grandchildren, Jeanette, Oscar III, Rebecca, Christyna, Rikki-Ann, Sara, & Shane; great-grandchildren, Brayden, Richard, & Kyler. She was predeceased by sister, Nancy Knowles & brothers Robert & Gary Cleaveland. A memorial service will be celebrated 10 AM Sat, April 23, in the Jeffrey A.
