Joshua Diehl

January 25, 1993 — August 12, 2020

Joshua Scott Diehl, age 27, of Denver Colorado passed away on August 12, 2020. He will lovingly be remembered by his mother Germaine T. Diehl (James R. Young); father Kevin S. Diehl; siblings Kaila Fleischman (Andrew Fleischman), Brenton Diehl, Christina Miller, Nikki Diehl, Ava Diehl, Gazelle Diehl and Matthew Diehl; grandfather Matthew Diehl; nephews Liam, Preston, and Xander; niece Sadie; extended family and many cherished friends. Preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Dennis and Elizabeth Guenot and his paternal grandmother Nancy Diehl. Joshua was born on January 25, 1993 in Sellersville, PA. For most of his life he resided in Eastern Pennsylvania. Upon graduating high school, Joshua joined the United States Marine Corps. and subsequently climbed the ranks to Lance Corporal. After completing his Marine training, Joshua attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida. Shortly after, Joshua moved out to Colorado and adopted his dog, Cache. While in Colorado he pursued various employment opportunities such as truck driving for Shamrock Foods, certified commercial and residential communications technician, secretary for H&R Block, IT Specialist, and much more. Colorado provided Joshua with various opportunities to satisfy his passion for adventure. He spent a lot of time exploring, camping, fishing, and dirt bike/motorcycle riding. He also became a talented foosball player; he won many matches and even loved it so much that he purchased his own high-quality foosball table. When Josh was interested in doing something he went all out and gave his absolute best effort in mastering that particular skill. Josh would always do a lot of research and would try to make the most informed decisions that he could; often asking experts in a particular field what the "Ferrari" of that field was. His level of knowledge often eventually exceeded the experts and for this reason many times he was the go-to person for advice or information for his family and friends. Joshua was such a loving, fun and adventurous person. He always wanted to do right by people and make a positive impact their life. He truly lit up any room he walked into with his handsome and sometimes goofy smile. Josh accomplished more in his 27 years on this earth than most people do in a lifetime; he truly lived each day to the max. Over the years Joshua made many friends and the impact that Josh made on those friends and his family will keep the memory of Josh alive for many years to come. The family would like to celebrate his life with a funeral at Durham Cemetery; followed by a reception at Benner Hall on September 12, 2020. Please view www.JoshsNextAdventure.com for more details and to RSVP by September 3, 2020.
