Josephine Brown

Josephine M. "Nonna" Brown, 82, of Coopersburg, died Sunday in her home. She was the loving wife of the late Paul R. Brown. Born in Pittston, she was the daughter of the late Nunzio and Florence (Gubitoso) Ross. She worked as a sewing machine operator in the clothing industry for over 30 years retiring in 1984 from the former Renninger Clothing Company, Quakertown. Beloved by her family she is survived by, daughters Paula Purdy, husband Richard, and Kathy Rack, husband Aaron, both of Coopersburg, grandchildren, Paul, Nicole, Louis, Antonio, Michael, Taryn and Skylar, great-grandchildren Lani and Dante, one of nine children she is survived by her sister Suzanne DeFlavio, husband Flory, of Quakertown. She was predeceased by her daughter, Lani Jo Brown. Funeral services will be held 11am Fri., June 7, in Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Zion Hill. Interment in Zion Hill Cemetery.
