Joseph Charles Radosin, 63, from Quakertown passed away at his home on January 19, 2019 after a short but brave battle with cancer. Joe was a longtime employee of Merck & Co, West Point, PA and a dedicated member of the United Steelworkers Union Local 10-00086. He was a champion for the workers and an advocate for the disadvantaged. Early in his adult life Joe was a Merchant Marine and sailed for Sun Transport delivering oil to various countries around the world. He spent over 10 years at sea where he learned the trade of engineering used in boilers and equipment for heating and water temperature control. A graduate of Abington High School, he was predeceased by his father Joseph Daniel Radosin, his mother, Theresa Marie Higgins Radosin and his sister Catherine Radosin Highland. He is survived by and deeply loved by his wife Jan Radosin of Quakertown, his step-sons and partners Jim Ryan (Jamie Yates) and Frank Ryan (Amber), and grandchildren Gracie Ryan, Johnathan Orth, Abby Sibson, Lexi Sibson; his cousins Frank Radosin (Pat), Bonnie Ettenger (Tom), Frank Radosin, Jr. Joe is also survived by and was loved by his wife's large family and many long time, close friends. Private funeral services were held on January 24, 2019.
