Joseph E. Moyer, 47, of Quakertown, formerly of Harrisonburg, VA died unexpectedly Fri., May 18, in his home. He worked as a behavioral counselor for various counseling centers and camps. He was a graduate of Messiah College and received his masters from Eastern Mennonite Seminary. Joe spent a year in voluntary service in the YES program in Baltimore helping the church with service to the underprivileged. Born in Doylestown, he was a son of Edwin G. and Palma (Sottolano) Moyer of Quakertown. Surviving with his parents, are his brothers, James E., wife Lisa, of Palmyra, VA and Jonathan, wife Ann Marie, Alburtis, two nieces, and his girlfriend, Althea Norris.
