Joseph Mccue

Joseph E. McCue, 78, of Red Hill, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2019 at Abington Memorial Hospital. He was the loving husband of Margaret "Peggy" A. (Lunkenheimer) McCue for 59 years. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Joseph & Anna Grace (Becker) McCue. He graduated from North Catholic High School in 1958 and attended Temple University. Joseph was a proud member of the United States Air Force. For many years, he worked as a Buyer in Skokie, IL and managed Sears Surplus stores in Philadelphia. He was a member of St. John of the Cross in Roslyn, PA. Joseph loved to fish, golf, play horseshoes and racket ball. He enjoyed spending time on his boat and golf cart. He cherished spending time with his family and adored his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He truly was the "best man you'd ever want to meet in your life" and was a true role model for all. If you ever needed guidance on being a great husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, sibling, or friend, he was your guy to ask. Joseph had unconditional love for his wife. In addition to his wife are loving family members: Joseph, Dawn, Joanne, John, and Kim; grandchildren: Melissa, Geoffrey, Kelly, Frank, Kayla, Samuel, Sean, Eden, Matthew, Tyler and Kelsey; great-grandchildren: Chase, Frankie, Alexandra, Mae, Alyssa, Mila, Charli, Huck, Eva, and Edward and was a wonderful brother to Florence, Rosemarie, Eileen and Carol. Memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, August 15 in the Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Road, Quakertown, PA 18951. Friends and family are invited to greet the family beginning at 10:00 AM.
