Joseph Maugle

On Monday, May 31, 2021, Joseph (Joe) William Maugle, loving son, brother, and uncle, passed away at the age of 59.

Joe was born on January 23, 1962 in Sellersville, PA to Donald and Arlene (Bright) Maugle.

He graduated from Quakertown Community High School, attended Lehigh University, and joined the Laborers' Local Union 57 in 1986. Joe worked for CYMA Carpentry Company (at Merck Pharmaceuticals) from 2015-2021.

Joe had a passion for the outdoors; he loved hunting, fishing, and cooking.  He also enjoyed attending auctions and became very knowledgeable about antiques both large and small. He loved his family and greatly appreciated watching Philadelphia sports and spending time with friends. Joe was known for being stubborn, clever, humorous, and stalwart.

Joe was preceded in death by his father, Donald (Dutch).  He is survived by his mother Arlene, his brother David (wife Jeanne), sister Donna Milligan (husband Warren), nephews Alexander and Michael Milligan (wife Kayla), niece Catherine, ex-wife Kathy Vale and two step-children Nathan and Richard Hendrickson.

You are invited to visit with Joe's family and friends from 2:00-3:00 PM, Saturday, June 12, 2021 at the Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Road, Quakertown, PA 18951. Memorial service will follow at 3:00 PM.
