Joseph T. Afflerbach, 91, of Coopersburg, previously of Quakertown, died Sat. April 12. He was the husband of the late Elaine C. (Trumbower) Afflerbach. Born in Quakertown, he was a son of the late Norwood & Nora (Stauffer) Afflerbach. Joe graduated from Quakertown High School, class of '39 and served with the US Navy in the South Pacific during World War II. He worked as a carpenter in construction for many years retiring in 1984 after 11 years with Best Homes of Center Square. He was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Perkasie and a life member of the Wallace Willard Keller American Legion, Quakertown. Surviving are a daughter, Lana Kline and son, Alan, with whom he resided, grandson, Christopher "Chris", wife Melissa,; granddaughters Kylie & Averi, all of Coopersburg; brother Philip, Red Hill, sister Orpha Richter, Quakertown. He was predeceased by brothers Paul & Mark and sister Ruth Fitzgerald. Services will be held 10:30 AM Wed., April 16 in the Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W.
