John C. Thomas, 89, of Harleysville, PA departed to his heavenly home on 12/1/19. His immediate large family of 1 brother, 3 daughters, 1 son, 8 grandkids, and 17 great grandkids celebrate his life which was one of kindness, generosity, and wit. He had a heart of gold, always wanting to serve in and out of the church and always put others above himself. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force during the Korean war before beginning a long career at Bell Telephone. He was an avid Philadelphia sportsman, enjoyed playing sports growing up and loved archery, fishing, and golfing. He also enjoyed bowling and singing. His life was a blessing, and he will be sorely missed. There will be a private burial, but anyone is welcome to come and honor his life at a service on 12/8/19 at 3:00 PM at Coventry Church of the Brethren, 946 Keen Rd, Pottstown, PA. Meal to follow. No flowers please, but if desired, a donation in his memory can be made to Voice and Vision, Inc., at www.voiceandvisioninc.org, or the West Norriton Police Association at P.O.
