John P. Sharkey, 20, of Quakertown, died with his family on October 30, 2017. Born in Warminster, he was a son of Paul Sharkey, of Doylestown and Maggie Corson-O'Donnell, of Quakertown. John was a forester for Bear Rock Conservatory for 4 years. Lovingly called "Sharkey" by his friends, in his free time he enjoyed hiking and fishing, song-writing, singing, playing guitar, and listening to music. Surviving with his parents are his siblings: Paul Sharkey, Jr. of Langhorne; Erin Noll husband John of Graham, WA; Madeline Reid husband Mike of Pottstown; and Jane Sharkey of Seattle, WA, and a nephew Michael Reid, whom John loved and adored very much. He also had step-parents: Joseph O'Donnell of Quakertown and Neida Joseph of Doylestown, as well as a step-sister Kate O'Donnell of Perkiomenville, and two step-nieces Kaylee and Mackenzie. A celebration of life will be held at 2010 Allentown Rd, Quakertown 18951 on Saturday, November 4 starting at 1 PM where friends and family can come together to celebrate the life of John.
