John D. Gluck, 71, of Quakertown, passed away peacefully in his home Friday March 22, 2013. He was the husband of Mary Ann (Kershinsky) Gluck, celebrating 48 years this past October. Born in Quakertown, he was the son of the late Joseph and Margaret (Handschin) Glick. John worked for over thirty years for the GAF Company, formerly Atlas and Georgia Pacific as a relief person. He was a member of St. Isidore's Catholic Church, Quakertown, the Quakertown American Legion Post 242, Sellersville Moose-Chapter 471, Waldheim Club, Keelersville Club, Silver Creek Sportsman's Club, North Penn Gun Club, Perkasie Owls, East Greenville Fire Co. and the Coopersburg Fire Co. John was an avid sports fan. He was an umpire registered with the ASA where he served as a Deputy Commissioner in District 15. Over the years, John was a referee for Midget football, baseball, and basketball. His favorite was watching the Philadelphia Flyers. He also collected trains which he enjoyed sharing with his grandchildren. John was blessed with great faith, great family, and great friends. Surviving with his wife Mary Ann are sons; John D. his girlfriend Lisa of Farmingdale, NJ, Timothy R. his girlfriend Shannon of Quakertown, daughters; Mary M. Schulberger, husband Ron of Perkasie, Deborah Ann Clymer, husband Steve of Quakertown, brothers; Joseph, wife Mary Lynn, Robert, wife Pat both of Quakertown. Grandchildren; Ashley, Brittany, Isabella, and their mother Leah, Matthew, Randy, Amanda, & Rachel. Nephews; Dennis, Rob, and Scott. Nieces; Denise and Wendy. Services, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday April 2, 2013 at 11AM in St. Isidore's Catholic Church, 2545 W. Pumping Station Rd, Quakertown. Viewings will be held Monday April 1, 2013 from 6-9 pm and on Tuesday April 2 from 9:30-10:30AM in the Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd, Quakertown.
