Joan I. Moyer, 77, of Telford, previously of Quakertown, died Monday August 2 in her home. She was the wife of Joseph W. Moyer. They celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary last December. Born in Buffalo, New York she was a daughter of the late Earl William and Blanche Caroline (Hearn) Eichorn. Joan was a member of St. Isidore's Catholic Church, Quakertown and the Indian Valley Country Club, Telford. She had a passion for roller skating and bridge and loved to golf. Joan was also musically inclined, having taught piano for a year at St. Isidore's School. While attending the University of Maryland, she was the head majorette for the university band at Eisenhower's Inaguaration. Surviving with husband, sons, Timothy of Quakertown, James and wife Holly of Pipersville; daughter, Suzanne "Suzy" Wolfe and husband John of Green Lane; 7 grandchildren, Ryan, Tyler, Linzi, Samantha, Erica, Katrina, Sabrina. She was predeceased by brother, William "Billy" Memorial Mass will be celebrated on (date & time to be determined). Interment: Quakertown Union Cemetery. Jeffrey A.
