Joan Knauss

Joan J. Knauss, 80, of Quakertown, died Thur., May 3, 2012 in Phoebe Richland Health Care Center. She was the widow of Bruce M.J. Knauss, Sr. Born in Philadephia, she was the daughter of George and Sadie (Exstine) Koons. She was a 1949 graduate of Quakertown High School. She was a member of Morning Star Moravian Church, Coopersburg. In her spare time, Joan enjoyed making crafts and doing word finds. Surviving: son, Bruce, wife Colleen, Coopersburg; grandsons, Andrew and Eric. She was preceded in death by brother, George Koons and sister, Dorothy Dietrich. Service will be held at 11 AM Monday, May 7 in Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd, Quakertown. Call: 10-11 AM at the funeral home. Interment in Quakertown Union Cemetery.
