Jimmy D. Kemmerer, age 68, of Perkasie, died at his home on Wednesday, November 9, 2016. Born in Norristown, he was the son of the late Joe and Catherine (Graff) Kemmerer. Jim was a soil scientist who liked "playing in the dirt", and had a Master's Degree in Outdoor Recreation. He was an avid hunter, fisher and trapper; enjoyed raising livestock, being at his cabin and the outdoors in general. Most importantly he was a great father who loved anything that had to do with his kids, and he supported them in every endeavor. Surviving is his wife, Annemarie (Molino) Kemmerer, Perkasie; five children: Christina Kemmerer, Quakertown; Jillian, wife of Jamie Saner, Omaha, NE; Maria, wife of Josh Winters, Harrisburg; Jimmy D. Kemmerer, Jr., Taneytown, MD and Sterling Kemmerer, Perkasie; two grandchildren: Peyton and Rylee (who is expected in a few months) and two sisters: Catherine Ebner, Warminster and Joanne, wife of Craig Toal, Gerrardstown, WV. In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his step-mother, Mary Kemmerer. Memorial service will be held on Monday, November 14 at 2 PM in Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Road, Quakertown, with a calling hour beginning at 1 PM. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
